A Course in Miracles Lesson 1

For about 38 years I’ve had on my bookshelf a book, A Course in Miracles (hereafter referred to as ACIM). Most of this time it’s set unopened. But it is said that when the pupil is ready the teacher will appear. I guess I must be ready now to learn from this course because everyone I have read recently has been referencing ACIM.
So I thought I’d share my thoughts about each of the daily workbook lessons as I do them. I am not sure I will get this done every day but as I do the lesson I will share and I hope my thoughts help you and I’d love to have you share your thoughts also. Each of us has the  same access to wisdom and knowledge and we can always learn from each other.
Lesson 1: Nothing I See in this room [on this street, from this window, in this place] means anything.
Everything, yes everything you see as you look around only has whatever meaning you attach to it. ACIM says you don’t have to believe this or like this,to do the exercise you just have to be willing to look at everything around you and see that in itself, nothing means anything.
Two of my favorite people who work with ACIM are James Twyman and Pam Grout. I will be sharing some of James’ YouTube videos and Pam’s blog posts with you as we progress through these 365 lessons.

I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences with each of these lessons and I look forward to sharing lesson 2 with you tomorrow.
